ITS Manager (10060)
Key strategic hire to provide national guidance to further development of Stanley Consultants ITS Practice, specifically ITS master planning, design, and implementation. In consultation with Transportation/Traffic Engineering staff and local office leaders, the ITS Manager will:
•Develop a local/regional/national strategic plan to develop ITS capabilities in existing offices and expand these capabilities in offices currently offering these services.
•Provide oversight and assistance to implement the strategic plan resulting in increased market sector revenue.
•Assist local offices with major project pursuits, new business development and local client relationships.
•Identify project leads and develop strategies to win the project leads and market key ITS clients.
•Participate in local, national, and international ITS organizations and increase Stanley Consultants exposure/presence in the ITS environment.
•Coordinate with the Transportation Practice Leader, Chief, or Technical Committee to provide technical assistance, quality control oversight, and maintenance of required standards.
The following skills are required:
•15+ years experience in ITS, traffic engineering
•Client contacts and relationships
•Marketing and business development skills
•Skills in successfully writing proposals, scopes of work, and negotiating contracts
•Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with clients, elected officials, general public, and all levels of the organization
•Track record of successful project management and team leadership
Individual shall be licensed Professional Engineer with significant ITS experience in planning, design, and implementation of ITS improvements. Individual shall possess a strong local ITS presence/recognitions and ability to expand this to a regional/national level. Applicant should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
•ITS Master Planning Studies
•ITS Communication Technologies & Implementation
•Design, Construction, and Operation of Traffic Management Centers and Smart Highway Systems
•Preparation of ITS Plans, Specifications, and Estimates
•Systems Integration

Masters or PhD in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering is desired, PE and 15+ years experience required. Individual shall obtain licensure in Arizona, Utah, and Florida within 12 months of hire. Registration in other states with existing Stanley office locations maybe required.

Marketing Coordinator (10084)
Responsible for coordinating the preparation of qualification statements, proposals, and presentation material in support of marketing
activities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Develop and coordinate sales aides and general marketing related activities (Conferences, trade shows, client and/or association events, etc.)
• Read and understand RFP's, then prepare proposals, Q&Es, SF254s/255s/330s and similar documentation based on client requirements
• Research client information via the internet
• Coordinate or prepare PowerPoint presentations
• Write and edit project descriptions and resumes
• Enter and retrieve information into/from company database
• Maintain photo files, both electronic and hard copy
• Edit and proofread work
• Gather Information

• Administrative duties
Position requires creativity; good time management and organizational skills; writing, proofreading, and editing skills; proficient at Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Self motivated; ability to work with others and with little or no direction. The ability to handle multiple tasks and to meet deadlines under sometimes very short time constraints. May require evening and weekend hours. Familiarity with In-Design is a plus.
Requirements include Bachelor Degree in English, journalism, marketing, business or similar field.

Senior Construction Observer(Temporary) (10016)
Performs on-site daily observation of the contractor’s construction work and compares the work product to the project’s approved plans and specifications on public works projects. Maintains daily logs of inspectors and reviews discrepancies with the proper parties. Physically performs field-required tests.
Requires a four-year degree in engineering or construction management or a minimum of 15 years of construction related experience in an applicable field. Must have good communication and documentation skills (Word or equal, Internet) and an individual capable of performing with minimal supervision. A general knowledge of construction techniques and an ability to read plans and specifications is mandatory.
Must also possess ACI/ATTI certifications. ADOT experience a plus.

Senior Project Coordinator (10077)
Performs on-site daily office administration duties in a construction field office. These duties include: working independly with ADOT’s construction field office computer software programs (CPE, SATS, etc), review of inspectors pay quantities, entering pay quantities, producing monthly contractor pay applications, performing all FHWA required documentation for construction documentation, handling and processing of submittals/correspondence, filing, answering the phone, producing meeting minutes, interacting with ADOT’s Field Reports personnel, producing the projects close-out paperwork, and all other duties required of an ADOT Office Manager. This position will also perform project documentation required on local government, private and County construction projects.
Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a construction administration field office. Must have good communication and documentation skills (Word or equal, Internet, Excel, CPE, SATS) and an individual capable of communicating with inspectors, Engineers, and contractors.
This position requires experience as the ‘ADOT Construction Office Administrator’ (ADOT Office Manager) working directly for ADOT or as a Consultant.

Water Resource Practice Leader (10052)
Key strategic hire to provide national guidance in furthering development of Stanley Consultants Water Resources (WR) market sector. In consultation with the Infrastructure Business Leader and local Office Leaders, the WR Practice Leader will:
•Develop Stanley’s national / regional strategic plan
•Assist Stanley offices with major project pursuits, new business development and local Client relationships
•Evaluate strategic staffing hires and acquisitions
•Provide oversight and assistance to implement strategic plan resulting in increased market sector revenue
•Participate in national and international market sector organizations and prepare, coordinate, publish and present market specific articles
•Coordinate with the WR Discipline Chief and Technical Committee to achieve goals related to technical proficiency, quality control oversight, member professional development and maintenance of required standards.
Individual shall be a licensed Professional Engineer with significant water resource and civil works engineering experience in planning, design and construction. Individual shall possess a regional / national expertise and recognition in one or more of the following areas:
•Corps of Engineers civil works (navigation structures, dams, pump stations, gate structures, levees)
•Municipal stormwater infrastructure (stormwater treatment areas, detention basins, large interceptor sewers, sewer separation)
•Federal, state, or local environmental restoration (wetlands restoration, wildlife management areas, recreation facilities)
•Sustainable stormwater management (LEED, low impact development)
•Erosion Control, scour mitigation and sediment transport
•Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, FLO-2D and other H & H software)
•Federal & State Permitting
•Flood insurance / floodplain management (FIS, LOMA, LOMR, Flood Zone Certifications)
•GIS tools integrated with H & H modeling, floodplain, drainage and sediment / scour analysis

• Participate in national and international organizations and prepare, coordinate and present market specific papers and presentations
• Coordinate with the W/WW Chief and Technical Committee to provide technical assistance, quality control oversight and maintenance of required standards.
Individual shall be a licensed Professional Engineer with significant environmental engineering experience in planning, design and constructability of water and wastewater related facilities. Individual shall possess a regional/national expertise and recognition in one or more of the following areas:
• Large diameter water pumping and transmission
• Water treatment
• Wastewater conveyance
• CSO
• Wastewater treatment
